This was a TV spot and promotional piece for ComicCon.
I worked with the directors to lead their first Maya and Vray project at CoSA VFX.
Working with Zbrush sculptors and other modelers, I devised a system to pack ultra high resolution meshes into this diorama, and convert them via command line to Vray Proxy files. I did all lookdev and master lighting using Maya, Mudbox and Xnormal. We rendered the final piece in Vray, and comped it in Nuke. I also rendered a print-resolution 16k final output in Deadline using their tiled render system.
All work was done at CoSA VFX. I do not own this content.
